Where the bar is your classroom

Gantz School of Bartending's flagship program is a comprehensive 2-week (32-hour) certification course designed to give you the skills, knowledge, and confidence you need to succeed behind the bar—whether you're pursuing a professional career or enhancing your mixology expertise.

What You'll Learn

Our hands-on curriculum covers everything essential to becoming a skilled bartender:

  • Hands-On Bar Training - From your first day, you'll work in a real bar environment, learning to navigate the setup, tools, and workflow that professional bartenders use every shift.

  • Cocktail Knowledge - Master classic cocktails, contemporary favorites, and the history and stories behind the drinks that define the craft.

  • Bar Techniques - Develop proper pouring, shaking, stirring, muddling, and garnishing techniques that create perfectly balanced drinks every time.

  • Customer Service and Best Practices - Learn how to engage with customers, manage a busy bar, handle difficult situations, and create memorable experiences that keep guests coming back.

The Gantz Difference: Real Ingredients, Real Experience

Unlike other bartending schools that use water and artificial mixers, our students work with real alcohol and fresh ingredients from day one. This means you're not just learning the motions, you're learning true mixology. You'll understand how flavors interact, how proper proportions create balance, and how to craft cocktails that taste as good as they look. When you step into your first bartending job, you'll already know what a well-made cocktail should taste like.

Your Certifications

Upon completion of Bartending Basics and Certification, you'll earn:

  • TIPS Certification (Training for Intervention ProcedureS)

  • Bar Certification from Gantz School of Bartending

These credentials demonstrate your commitment to responsible alcohol service and professional bartending standards.

From Training to Employment

Upon successful completion of the program, students will have access to job placement opportunities with On My Way Bartending, giving you a direct path from training to employment in the industry. We're invested in your success not just during your 32 hours with us, but as you launch your bartending career.
